Iranian cinemas to screen Shahab Hosseini’s 'In the Mist'

Iranian movie theaters have been set to begin public screening of Iran’s feature 'In the Mist', starring the country’s megastar Shahab Hosseini.

Written and directed by Pegah Arzi, the social melodrama will go on display from May 8, 2019.

The drama is about love, loss, and secrets. In the film we follow a father and daughter, Saeed and Nabat, as their happy life is disrupted by the sudden appearance of a woman.

The three characters will now have to face their hidden emotions and make decisions that will change their lives forever.

In addition to Hosseini, Nazanin Farahani and Setayesh Mahmoudi have appeared in the film.

'In the Mist' was initially screened in the Iranian film market of the 37th Fajr International Film Festival where it was hailed by film critics.

The title also competed in ‘Women Filmmakers’ category of the 17th Dhaka International Film Festival in Bangladesh.
